Moishe Alexander Supports Eddie Shack’s Battle of the Badges

The 2009 Battle of the Badges is a charity hockey game between local Firefighters and Law Enforcement Officers. The game will be used to build community awareness for the upcoming 2009 World Police & Fire Games. The World Police & Fire Games are a spectacular international sporting event offering police officers, firefighters, customs and correction officers from around the world an opportunity to showcase their athletic excellence in over 65 sporting events. The 2009 Battle of the Badges will also raise money for three local charities which consist of The Law Enforcement Torch Run, The Burn Fund and Kid Sport. The night will have live music, appearances from local celebrities and of course a great game of hockey! Please come out and support this great event!

Moishe Alexander recently donated to Vaad Harabbanim (Rabbinical Board).
The Vaad provides a host of services to the Jewish community, including Rabbinical courts of law, lifecycle related services, and many others.

Moishe Alexander recently donated $1440.00 CDN to Vaad Mishmeres Mitzvos.
Vaad Mishmeres Mitzvos is an organization that supports scholars who study Torah (Jewish Law) on a full-time basis, and who do not consequently have other income.
