Building communities into futures
We’ve been helping welcome newcomers home for over 80 years.
JIAS Canada was founded in 1922, to help settle and integrate tens of thousands of Jewish immigrants from around the world into Canadian and Jewish community life.
JIAS (Jewish Immigrant Aid Services) Toronto – formerly a branch office and service arm of JIAS Canada, has established itself as a not for profit corporation dedicated to helping Jewish immigrants with resettlement in the Greater Toronto Area. We strive to help these new Canadians to rebuild their lives in a vibrant, dynamic place of safety. Our resources are far reaching, our goal clear and strong: by helping build strong communities, we’re building a stronger Jewish future for us all.
