I am delighted to announce The Fellowship’s 2009 Journey Home to Israel Tour!
This special trip will be October 31 to November 9, 2009, and I am pleased to share with you the exciting details. Our previous tours have been very successful–and full–which is why I want to give you this early opportunity to make your plans to join us this fall.

This year our journey through Israel will include: Jerusalem, both the modern-day capital and the Old City; Capernaum and the Sea of Galilee; Mount Carmel and the Golan Heights; the Garden Tomb; Masada and the Dead Sea; and many other exciting biblical sites.

You will also meet with key Israeli leaders, and receive a firsthand introduction to our lifesaving projects (On Wings of Eagles and Guardians of Israel) that you make possible throughout the Holy Land.

And as a special highlight, I look forward to sharing a traditional Sabbath meal with you during our 2009 tour, at which time we will discuss the warm relationship between Jews and Christians who love and support Israel.

Based on the testimonies of the hundreds of Fellowship friends who have participated in our previous tours, I can assure you this year’s tour will be an unforgettable time of blessing, enjoyment, and spiritual growth for you!

I believe you will be deeply touched–and changed–by this journey of a lifetime to the Holy Land.

With prayers for shalom, peace,

Moishe Alexander Donates to PETA

Moishe Alexander and the Canadian Funding Corporation donated $35.00 CDN to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in 2009.

About PETA:

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), with more than 2.0 million members and supporters, is the largest animal rights organization in the world.

PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other “pests,” and the abuse of backyard dogs.

PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns.

Moishe Alexander Donates to Eddie Shack’s Battle of the Badges

Moishe Alexander and Canadian Funding Corporation donated $57.50 CDN to Eddie Shack’s Battle of the Badges (http://www.battleofthebadges.com) in 2009.

About Battle of the Badges:

The Battle of the Badges Benefit Hockey Game

It’s a time where local heroes unite with legendary NHL players to bring the community together and entertain them with a good old fashioned hockey game. It’s a game where the score never really matters, and the real winners are always the beneficiaries that are helped from the proceeds.

While winning is always nice, it is not the motivating factor behind Battle of the Badges. Instead, the true goal when the players hit the ice is to raise money for worthy local causes and provide the fans with a memorable game. The big success of these deserving charities depends on the generous support from the community and corporate sponsors. Teams from all over the country combined with some NHLers is a winning combination for these deserving charities.

Enjoy Tyke Teams, getting autographs, winning prizes, picking up some souvenirs and meeting the players…in addition to helping great causes!
